コンポーザー / アレンジャー Composer/Arranger
1997年にゲームソフトメーカーの株式会社カプコンに入社。
”デビルメイクライ”シリーズの大半の楽曲を手掛ける。
また、現在人気ソフトの「モンスターハンター」では立ち上げから楽曲制作に関わり、
その独特の世界観を作り上げる。
その他アウトモデリスタをはじめ、ヴァンパイアシリーズ・パワーストーンシリーズ・
バイオハザードアウトブレイクシリーズなど、
カプコン在籍時には20作以上のタイトルに関わる。
2009年には、作曲したデビルメイクライ4のテーマ楽曲"Out of Darkness"が
アメリカ「G.A.N.G. award」のベストボーカル楽曲にノミネートされる。
バイオハザードシリーズやデビルメイクライシリーズ、モンスターハンターシリーズでは
作曲家としてのみではなく、サウンドディレクター/サウンドプロデューサーも務め、
ハリウッドやプラハでの海外フルオーケストラレコーディング等、制作面のプロデュースも行う。
ゲーム制作にのみにとどまらず、2009年5月には池袋の芸術劇場にて
「モンスターハンター5周年オーケストラコンサート」を企画・プロデュースし、成功を収める。
2009年７月、サウンドに関わる多くの活動を経て、新たな分野で活躍すべく、
サウンド制作・プロデュースをする会社として「株式会社ユニークノート」を設立。
これまでの世界中での制作経験を生かし、
現在ではゲーム以外にもテレビ・ラジオ・ミュージカルの作曲やアーティスト楽曲の編曲等にも参加し、
幅広く活動している。
Tetsuya Shibata is a Japanese video game music composer and sound director.
Tetsuya is credited for over twenty musical scores produced for Capcom's
video game releases including the Monster Hunter and Devil May Cry series,
as well those in the Darkstalkers, Power Stone and Resident Evil: Outbreak
series. In 2009, the main theme music of Devil May Cry 4 "Out of Darkness"was nominated for the "Original Best Vocal "at the GDC
"G.A.N.G. Award". Tetsuya's later works with the company involved organizing orchestral
recordings for the major releases Resident Evil 5 and Monster Hunter Tri.
In 2009, Shibata left Capcom and began his own sound studio Unique Note
Co., Ltd. with colleague Yoshino Aoki.

1995年に株式会社カプコンに入社、
作曲家・ボーカリストとしてブレスオブファイアシリーズをはじめ、
シャドウオブローマ・ロックマンエグゼシリーズなどのタイトルに関わる。
海外のステージでのボーカルパフォーマンス経験ももつ。
2006年、フリ−ランスの作曲家・ボーカリストとして独立後、
2009年に柴田と共に株式会社ユニークノートを設立。
数多くのゲーム・舞台音楽の制作を手掛けるとともに、近年はヴォーカリストとしても幅広く活躍する。
Yoshino Aoki is a Japanese composer and singer. She is credited for Breath
of Fire series, Shadow of Rome, and Megaman NT warrior series. She also
performed singing a song in Hong Kong/Singapore. In 2006, Aoki left Capcom
and started her works as an independent composer and singer. In 2009, Aoki
established Unique Note Co., Ltd. with Shibata, and she is working for
many video games and musical titles as a composer and singer.

サウンドデザイナー / コンポーザー Sound Designer/Composer
学生時代に音響工学・サラウンドについて学び、
ゲームハードウェア設計及び技術著作権管理担当として
1993年にデータ・イースト株式会社に入社。
1996年にサミー株式会社、同年に株式会社セガに入社。
入社後、ピアノ/キーボード演奏・作曲の経験を活かし、
ビデオゲームサウンドクリエーター中心の業務に従事する。
エンジン音を物理的に分析・シミュレーションし、
サラウンド、実況などのシステム構築から
サウンドツールの検証・サウンドディレクションまで、幅広い分野で活躍する。
現在は作曲家・サウンドデザイナーとして活動する傍ら、
ピアニストとしても活動している。
Taihei Sato is a Japanese sound designer and composer. He studied Acoustic Engineering and surround sound technology in the university. After he graduated the university, he entered SEGA as a design engineer for the video games in 1996. After he entered the company, he worked as a sound designer and composer for the video game in which he put his experience of keyboard to good use. He succeeded to make the tools and the software to construct the simulated engine sound of cars. He also constructed 5.1ch sound system and some other tools for the video games as well. Now Taihei Sato works as a sound designer, composer, and the pianist.
